An Idaho native, Kurt possesses and exhibits all the qualities this great state, Idaho, stands for—hard work, honesty, ingenuity, and straightforwardness. Kurt studied at Utah State University where he graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in History. After graduation he worked in Texas and Washington, D.C. before commencing his legal education at the University of Idaho College of Law. There he pursued his Juris Doctorate with an emphasis in litigation. He won a place on the school’s Trial Team where he competed in the national competition in Seattle, WA, and St. Louis, MO. In addition, Kurt competed on the school’s appellate team which competed in a national competition in New York City.
Upon graduation from law school, Kurt opened a private practice in Twin Falls, Idaho. There he successfully represented the residents of Magic Valley both in and out of the courtroom. He was recognized by the Idaho State Bar in 2016 for his volunteer legal work for senior citizens, receiving the Denise O’Donnell Day Pro Bono Award. He joined Post Falls Law in 2018, became a senior partner, and in 2021 started Post Falls Estate Planning and Probate.
Kurt is passionate about the law and the rights provided by the legal system. He volunteers in his church and loves to spend time with his family. He loves northern Idaho and its people and is happy to have the opportunity of serving this great community.
Alexander M. Haggard
Alex and his family moved to the area in early 2021. He began his legal career in 2009 as a paralegal with the United States Army before graduating with a B.S. in Legal and Paralegal Studies from the University of Great Falls, Montana. His Army paralegal work inspired him to pursue his Juris Doctorate at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with an emphasis in Trial & Appellate Advocacy. Alex received the top grade in four of his law school classes, including Legal Research & Writing and Banking Law. He also earned a place on his school’s Appellate Team and his professor selected him to compete in the American Bar Association’s national competition. Alex made the Dean’s Honor list all three years of law school and earned his Juris Doctorate with great distinction.
Alex is thrilled to live and work in North Idaho. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three small children, studying history, and attending activities with his church.
Maleah grew up in a small town in Eastern Washington called Odessa. Odessa is a small farming community with a population of about 800 people. She moved up to Northern Idaho in June of 2018, and so far is loving it! She also loves coming to work knowing she is going to help someone. She is also the first in her family to ever have a career in law.
